i cant use mods.

i cant play the game with mods enabled. i had the issue where i couldnt join servers (which i gave uo before it got resolved) and i now assume this mod issue (which is not letting me play the game when mods are enabled) is the reason behind it

I have the same issue but it happens to be even without mods

If you have the zombie folder from realistic car physics it can cause that, you have to manually remove it

It's the one you have to copy from the mod folder into the main files

No, it's a cause of it

If there's another mod that needed you to copy a file to the main zomboid game folder it can probably cause it as well

Specifically the steam zomboid folder, not the one that houses your saves and console logs

You can try doing a full reinstall to see if that helps, that removes all leftover files and settings that may be causing issues.

First, uninstall the game, then go to "Steam\steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid" and make sure there are no leftover files or folders there.

After that, go to “%UserProfile%\Zomboid” and delete everything there except the “Saves” folder.

Then just install the game again and see if that helps.

went thru the nast process of going thru every single mod what worked was getting rid of the common sense mod

idk how it affected this all u gotta do is unsub from it
