#Game Randomly Crashes While on Menu

Even if it boots up fine, the game will randomly close out of nowhere. The time it takes to happen varies and sometimes it doesn't happen at all. It seems to be able to crash at any point, whether booting, in menu, and playing the game.
Here is the log file:

Can you try doing a full reinstall?

First, uninstall the game, then go to "Steam\steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid" and make sure there are no leftover files or folders there.

After that, go to “%UserProfile%\Zomboid” and delete everything there except the “Saves” folder.

Then just install the game again and see if that helps.

Your logs suggest it may be a sound issue causing the crashes.

Try going to your Steam Library > Right click Project Zomboid > Properties > Set Launch Options > Type -novoip > Start the game

Can you try using the "Alternate launch" option when launching the game through Steam? If the game fails to start again, can you share a screenshot of the console window that shows up with the Alternate launch?

Since the game has recently updated can we try the full reinstall again?
