Issues launching a B42 server, don't know the problem

Hey, I'm having issues hosting a private server for me and a friend from my PC, it initializes and everything, then "launches" game and then immediately puts me back into the menu. Is there somewhere I should go for help or can someone here help me?

Are you using any mods?

No, I tried both with and without

Can you share your logs.zip file found in %UserProfile%\Zomboid?

I've reinstalled, switched version and even deleted all my mods and files.

Can you try doing a full reinstall?

First, uninstall the game, then go to "Steam\steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid" and make sure there are no leftover files or folders there.

After that, go to “%UserProfile%\Zomboid” and delete everything there except the “Saves” folder.

Then just install the game again and see if that helps.

Alright, so trying to host on build 42, no mods, no setting changes, nothing.

First attempt of hosting, trying again now.

Can you close the game, go to "%UserProfile%\Zomboid\Saves", make a backup of the "Multiplayer" folder and then delete it?

So make a copy of the Mp file and delete the old one?

Set server memory to 4gb as that's the default and then press start, so we can check it's not a memory allocation issue at the same time

Do you have another drive you can try installing the game on?

Thanks, if you could go through the same steps as the complete reinstall too just so we know we're starting from fresh again
