The ports are open
Server ram is 16gb
Pc specs is i7 14700hx, 32gb ram, rtx 4060
My friend has even better specs
How do we deal with this its very annoying
Important to mention that were running somemods
All small mods tho like hud changes and shit and a couple extra vehicles
Nothing game changing or map changing
But they did add up to like 80 mods

80 mods is a huge amount. some of them are probably broken.
my best advice: start searching for the broken mods and uninstall them.
How do i know which ones are causing the issue
google "Binary Search"
I know binary search
well, that's the hard part, disable all of them then do a few at a time till you get this error
Was just wondering if there a faster or less gamebreaking way
Im assuming removing mods midsave is gonna damage it
although that does look like what happens when the server is loading tiles
except weird
The best advice is what's already been given I'm afraid, you can either try them one by one or in batches until you find the mod causing issues, preferably on a new save so you don't lose anything from that one.
Can high ping cause this
I wanna rule that out before i commit into a 6 hours process cuz this issue only appears after being on the server for like 15 mins
Yes it can, generally it can be mainly caused by high ping, secondly it can be caused by low system specs (does not seem to be your case) and lastly mods
Okay
One last question
I have another computer here. If i launch the server and join from the other computer
Would it be a lan connection
With next to no ping
In other words would that help me rule out ping as the issue
The other pc doesnt have bad specs either its a i5 11th gen worh 16gb ram and rtx 2060
More or less yes, but you did say that your friend is having the issue, not you, right?
Yes
I am a bit lost of how your friend would connect through the LAN in that case
I used to have the issue in an earlier version of the game despite me being the host but the modlist and the game version are both different now
To rule out ping, it would have to be your friend who is hosting
No, i have 2 computers. I use the second computer to join the server qnd play on it, see if i can reproduce the issue
On the same wifi
I see, you can try it for sure
But generally, if you as the host do not have issues, you have already ruled out ping
For yourself that is
Meaning if you do not experience the issues, it would be likely caused by ping
Or a combination of all of the issues
I dont have the issue currently, just my friend. Joining in from my second pc would reduce ping as much as possible, and if i get the issue there, then i know its not the ping and probably from the mods
I dont remember all his specs but i do remember hes running an rtx5070 so it couldnt possibly be a low specs issue on his part
Leaving just the ping and the mods in question
