Can you share your logs.zip file found in %UserProfile%\Zomboid?

Can you try doing a full reinstall?

First, uninstall the game, then go to "Steam\steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid" and make sure there are no leftover files or folders there.

After that, go to “%UserProfile%\Zomboid” and delete everything there except the “Saves” folder.

Then just install the game again and see if that helps.

can you send your logs.zip again?

Do you have a second drive you can try installing the game on to? I notice you don't have a lot of space left on your current drive and that can cause issues.

wont show me another drive

If it's already on your other drive then what I was thinking is likely not an issue. Can you update to the patch we just released and see if that fixes the issue at all?

but the game folders are in my D drive

#

but yeah i updated and it still didnt work

Try going to your Steam Library > Right click Project Zomboid > Properties > Set Launch Options > Type

-cachedir= D:\Zomboid

Start the game

Can you share your logs.zip from that new cachedir location?

No, Zomboid is shipped with its own version of java.

My only other suggestion before I call in reinforcements is to try the full reinstall again now that we've moved the Zomboid folder.

First, uninstall the game, then go to "Steam\steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid" and make sure there are no leftover files or folders there.

After that, go to “D:\Zomboid” and delete everything there except the “Saves” folder.

If you wouldn't mind sending me screenshots of the folders as you go through, so I can verify you've not missed something.
