Due to security issues with 42.15, we cannot keep builds with known security problems in the Steam beta list.

You can technically get the save to run by loading the Echo Creek mod, but we will not be bringing 42.15.3 back.

On April 7th, we received reports from multiple users regarding a mod that was allegedly generating malicious code when run. We immediately investigated the mod in question, which contained heavily obfuscated code, and confirmed that it was creating malicious files outside of the Project Zomboid ...
alright thank you, can you just explain does the mod make it playable in 42.16.x even if the save is from 42.15.3?
?
Supposedly yes
I do not use the mod, so I cannot tell you if it works or not from my experience
That's good you got the money and been able to buy a game. However speaking of my personal experience saying you were pirating a game despite buying it later can trigger some users, especially in sensitive communities (this one not included I think).
Also this above is not to trigger an actual conversation on this. Please, "how could you, you bad man etc" keep it to yourself.
