unfortunately it crashes when I join the server but reading the console log its saying its running out of RAM but i've already given it up to 8GB to the client & still crashing. My save my be done for me & my friends..

sorry to hear that the client is RAM crashing, but the server seems happy? I'd probably go on a mod-removal hunt to see if you've got anything that broke for .16 (or unsub from client mods that you're not using...sometimes subscribed but inactive mods can still have an effect )

Because afaik you were playing B42.15 and the outdatedunstable got an update to 42.16 which means the save is no more compatible. The easy solution to those who wants to play indefinitely for one save - play B41.

The devs usually say "if you want to continue playing - backup the version". But this case is different. If you don't mind the possible malwares along the way you could play it. Unfortunately you probably updated the game before backuping it first. Also, there's no need to harass others. What I described is the ultimate solution to "the game got updated and my save stoped working". Calling me a moron doesn't help getting the server back lol

In my personal experience 8GB of RAM wasn't enough unfortunately. This is considering the game was also running on the same system. For the server it is the best to have more RAM since the server have to calculate different users in different positions at the same time.

No mods were installed & I verified my game data

Seen plenty use another mod for assisting the fix that I tried last night but it didn't work.

Don't worry I do backups on my server & this will be the last time I have to reset the world, I've done a entire folder backup of the game so I don't need steam to run it so when they force our hands mine will still be playing without interruptions.
