Whenever i open the game the game on b42 just stays on the menue screen but its just the guy holding his dead wife. is there anyway to fix this?

One of your mods is broken. You can try unsubscribing from them one by one to find the culprit. Sometimes also happens with a broken mod when you are in -debug mode.
