#Resolution and refresh rate issue

I’ve launched Project Zomboid for the first time on my new monitor, and it’s forcing my display to FHD at 240 Hz, which I don’t want. FHD isn’t a big issue if QHD isn’t supported yet, but I want to be able to set my game to 60 Hz. Next week, I’ll be upgrading my PC, which will allow this monitor to run at 540 Hz, and I don’t want PZ to force the highest refresh rate again. What can I do to fix this?

Inb4 my Windows is set to QHD 60 Hz, and PZ still forced FHD 240 Hz.
@ me when responding, thanks

I don't think it will force the game to 240 if your monitor refresh rate is 60 anyway. Just use VSync, I think it should lock the fps at 60

If you switched monitors, go to “%UserProfile%\Zomboid” and delete everything there except the “Saves” folder.

That should reset the monitor settings along with some others. It should use the refresh rate that you have your monitor + windows set to
