B42.16 crashes everytime i press click to start

Steps ive done to try and stop it from happening
-Verify integrity of game files

• Uninstall and reinstall
• Remove all mods
• Restart PC

Sometimes the game does actually load in but like 3 minutes in it crashes again.

This looks like an install issue, Steam generally does not remove leftover folders after a reinstall or even during file verification, which will cause issues

In which case, can you try doing a full reinstall?
First, uninstall the game, then go to "Steam\steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid" and make sure there are no leftover files or folders there.
After that, go to “%UserProfile%\Zomboid” and delete everything there except the “Saves” folder.
Then just install the game again and see if that helps.
