#B42 Starting New Save leads to Game crashing

I tried creating a new world but every time I try to load it, loading is stuck here then game just crashes without error.

Steps I've taken to try and resolve:

  • Verify integrity - still happens
  • Remove mods
  • Uninstall and reinstall - Still happens
  • Uninstall - Deleted the %UserProfile%\Zomboid aside from save and delete zomboid steamapp folder then reinstall. - Still happen
  • Asked my younger brother to try and host a server on his end (we live together) he was able to.
  • Restart & Updated graphic drivers = still happens
  • Add it to exclusion from windows defender - still happens

Pls help for my sanity

Try going to your Steam Library > Right click Project Zomboid > Properties > Set Launch Options > Type -novoip > Start the game
If that does not help, can you try typing -nosound instead? This is to check if it is a sound related issue.
