Is it possible to migrate character stats from 42.15 to 42.16? I have no mods whatsoever.

check your perklogs... add stats manually to a new character on a new save using admin powers

Hello, I was able to migrate from 42.15.3 to 42.16.0; however, it was at the server level, not in a single‑player game (I haven’t checked, but maybe the solution will help you).
What I did was remove the Echo Creek zone from servertest_spawnregions.lua. I also deleted three files from the saves/multiplayer/servertest folder — all the dictionaries (worlddictionary), there are three of them. Maybe you can replicate the same in your single‑player save if there’s an equivalent. In my host’s case, deleting those allowed me to connect normally, but I still don’t know what repercussions it might have.

My solution is for migrating the save file; the statistics are done as admin.

# silver smelt did anything notable break or vanish when you tried this?

At first, I didn’t see anything strange except for a “warning” message in the CMD every time you go through a door, but I checked in a new save and the same bug is there, so the cause isn’t the migration — it’s something from 42.16.0. During the 5–10 minutes of gameplay, I didn’t notice any missing objects or anything unusual, although that doesn’t mean the migration couldn’t have caused some kind of issue. But I didn’t notice anything, and another user who tried what I mentioned also didn’t notice anything “weird.”
