So after traveling for 10 days straight in Extinction mode I've stumbled upon this mini warehouse/storage where I found some nails and planks lying around, barricaded just these two windows and I'm not going to lie to you this is a place where I might consider staying in for the long run. Or just use it as my resting spot whenever I pass by. Plus, not too many zombies around.

Update:
Its almost been a month now.
Plus the base is starting to get crammed as I keep getting more supplies.
My main problem right now is food, I’ve only got chocolate milk and some beef jerky sticks to my name, and some unlabelled cans of food.
I might go out and find a chicken farm to hopefully keep this problem at bay. Maybe fishing but since I’m playing extinction mode it’s probably not gonna work in the long run.
The zones I’ve cleared in the nearby area have gotten filled with zombies again, and the gated community next door is TEEMING with infected, I tried to lure them away with a firetruck I hotwired at the parking lot.
I still haven’t found a generator, and since I know I won’t find a generator magazine I’ll start grinding electrical, even though I don’t have books for it, it’s better than nothing.
My character has fitness 4, meaning his stamina is pretty shit, so I’ll also have to excercising to try and get the cardio up. But first I need to find food, or I’ll surely starve before I get bitten by a zombie (even if I have the antibodies mod).
About water, water is getting scarse, I emptied out some paint buckets I found inside the furniture store lot. It hasn’t been too much of an issue but I sure as hell can’t just rely on just 20 litres of water until I get to winter. I might consider moving once I find a more secure base. This one might just not do.
That’s a nice little warehouse, it has the essentials. The appliance store next to it has a lot of goods inside you could disassemble to lvl skills plus materials. Has a big garage also. Good luck!
