B42 character gets locked into walking in one direction | Project Zomboid | Page 1

Not sure the best way to describe what is happening, but ever since updating to B42 my game has been doing this incredibly frustrating thing where sometimes when I try to move in a certain direction my character gets “locked” into moving in that direction and will continue walking for 2-3 seconds despite no keyboard input. It happens seemingly at random and it’s made the game too frustrating to play as my character will sometimes just continue walking directly into zombies and I can’t do anything to stop it 😭 The same thing happens when driving, using the car is basically impossible as I just end up crashing it. I’ve played this game for years and this never happened until B42, how do I fix this??
