Hi, I'm new to PZ. I have the game on Steam, but is the option to choose the settings?

Manage > Properties > Updates (nothing here)

Manage > Properties > Game Versions & Betas (I can only choose between Default public Version, outdate unstable which has no reference to a version I think would be like night build, and unstable which only says it is Latest 42b backup first.

Would someone be so kind as to guide me? Thank you

If you are new, you do not need to choose any version, preferably play on the stable public version

Which is already pre-selected

Okay, thanks! But I still want to be able to do it—I'm new, but I want to experiment with the versions. What I'm looking for is how to switch between versions, regardless of whether I'm new or a veteran. I'd like to have the option to choose which

There is no "nightly" build

#

Public is 41, unstable is 42, outdatedunstable is one version behind 42

Oh yes, good sir! I've read about the reason for the decision to have the branches this way; I didn't know. Thank you for your time.

So to play 42, you need outdateunstable? If I understand correctly

It is there to allow players to play a bit longer on older saves and use older mods

Then I misunderstood, like outdatedunstable is recommended for playing
