Friend cant join my hosted server

he had some delay earlier now he is getting this error while trying to join

Is your friend able to join any other servers? Can anyone else join this server?

yes other people join too but when he joins he gets a black wall later and his map is delayed

i suspect that its the hospital we went to after we got out of the hospital we got blackwalled around the cell and ever since that he has those issues

That would imply connection issues, does your friend get these same black walls on other servers?

He tried turning his vpn off and stuff he hasn't had this issue before we had that hospital incident

I played on some other servers and i only was getting black walls when we was using cars but on spiff's server if i go a few meters from my spawn i will get black walls and everything will be super delayed like map, players and etc

i played with spiff before multiply times and i didnt have this problem

Can you specify what ping you have on this server that you have issues with in that case? And do you get any "port closed" errors while loading into the server?

sometimes it hits like 1k ping and then im getting like 200 errors and then i see black walls and delays

i normally got like 100-200 ping

i dont think there was any port closed errors i think it was just normal loading screen

That is very high ping unfortunately, I am not sure I can help much in such cases, since at such ping anything can happen

If you do get errors though, I could suggest a full reinstall to see if that helps.

First, uninstall the game, then go to "Steam\steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid" and make sure there are no leftover files or folders there.
After that, go to “%UserProfile%\Zomboid” and delete everything there except the “Saves” folder.
Then just install the game again and see if that helps.
