when i use steam's "browse local files" feature, it only shows me assets, osts etc from b41 instead of b42, how do i get access to b42 files?

What do you mean? That always points to your game install folder

It will show the "assets" of whatever version you have installed

im trying to tinker around with the soundtracks a little, and the music folder only shows me ost from b41

The music folder does not contain the music for the game

The music is stored in bank files in media\sound\banks\Desktop
