Cant install the unstable or the outdateunstable version after uninstalling the game

I uninstall the game like in december of 2025, i played before that the build 42 (unstable version) now i want to play it another time, i been trying installing the version like 3 days, every time i unisntall the game, install it, put the beta unstable or outdateunstable and every time i got into the game it says b41.78.16, i dont have any mods installed, i veryfied the files a lot of times and uninstalling the files of project zomboid from steamapps folder, but it didnt work

another issue this make is i cant play with my friends because i have the 41.78.16 and my friends have the 41.78.17, i cant update the game because this

also my mods dont work when i tried using any

That is just a Steam issue, not a game issue

Since it fails to download the correct update
