#B42 How to make zombies spawn inside the building I spawn in for a challenge run?

Hello, I've managed to set up a custom spawn for singleplayer at the top of Bateman Office building, but the building is completely empty when I spawn there and the "Player Spawn Area" setting does nothing? I set it to Zombies Can Spawn Anywhere but the building is still empty when I spawn in. If anyone knows how to fix this lmk

The game use a spawn point check. Zombie spawning has been removed in spawn points.

The custom spawn point is exactly here at the top floor

Could use debug mode to manually spawn hordes of zombies in the building. Then just start at the top...

There actually used to be a mod that was exactly what you're trying to setup. It started you at the top of that exact building and expected you to fight your way out...

Don't remember the name of the mod tho...

and yeah, Im using custom sandbox settings to tweak the game a bit, and the zombies are set to spawn everywhere and it doesnt work

huh, I was tinkering with it for quite a while to make it work myself

cuz I got conflicting info on how to add spawnpoints

its changed from 41 to 42

But right now it works for me

before, in consoletxt it would say it didnt find a room at the given coords and game would close

Fixed it, and yes it seems like zombies do not spawn there at all

Yeah, it seems like the spawn area setting is set to zombies not spawning inside the building and around it

Can you forward this as a bug report in that case so our QA team can have a look? You can also say I confirmed by testing it myself

if that setting was fixed its pretty easy to make vanilla challenge runs like say from the top of the building which used to be a mod

though making spawnpoints would be neat if they made a thing in the game and not messin with files
