I just updated my linux dedicated server to 15+ and wiped the mp save folder. Removed all mods for this update. It seems pretty broken. For starters I havent see any zombies and we have the server set to very high. Another player reported tile texture issues.

You may have a game install issue based on your description, can you try doing a full reinstall?
First, uninstall the game, then go to "Steam\steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid" and make sure there are no leftover files or folders there.
After that, go to “%UserProfile%\Zomboid” and delete everything there except the “Saves” folder.
Then just install the game again and see if that helps.

im in a linux dedicated server.

#

I tried deleting the .cache folder in its entirety but Its still not spawning zombies. I have it set to very high and in debug i saw like 17 zombies in one part of muldraugh

#

on the debug map.

#

TPed to the checkpoint outside of LV and it was empty.

#

reinstalling the game to the server.. asuming that's what the button that says reinstall server does from the provider lol

#

That also did not work.

Can you elaborate how you installed the server?

#

It's through a provider.

#

I've not had this issue since getting this back in december.

I might suggest contacting the support of your server provider in that case, since there are not many things I can suggest with providers

#

Best I can say is doing a full wipe, your provider likely allows that

Well that didnt work so now he's saying it could be something from the update...

inland merlin
#

That is unlikely

#

Do you have any sort of custom server settings?

#

Try loading with just the defaults

Idk we just did a full reinstall nothing was saved. They performed it. I just logged in remade the character and opened the zombie pop again. same thing.

Since there is a process for it, it is not recommended to first install the server and then update it

#

But instead, directly install the update

I figured it out and it was a me problem. Just been busy and when i was removing the mods i forgot to remove the first map call to a map i no longer had.
