You're missing core game files. You'll need to go to `C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common` and delete the entire `108600` folder. Once you've done that, verify integrity and try to open it when the reinstall completes. This ensures a clean installation.
I'd also recommend going to Steam/steamapps/workshop/content/108600 and deleting any leftover workshop files.
just did all of this and still having the same issue
not sure if you need to see this again
Can you try doing a full reinstall?
First, uninstall the game, then go to "Steam\steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid" and make sure there are no leftover files or folders there.
After that, go to “%UserProfile%\Zomboid” and delete everything there except the “Saves” folder.
Then just install the game again and see if that helps.
It is important to delete the files manually after the uninstall, Steam often keeps leftovers, causing issues. Standard reinstall as you did will not help in such cases
I will try this soon when I’m back home and let you know if it fixes thank yall for all of the help
