I went to play today and notice that my game had reverted back to B41, when I right click PZ and go to properties the options I have are not the same as they use to be. There is no option to opt in/out of betas and there are only 3 options all showing updated on March 3rd.
I was playing in the stable version of B42 just before the Multiplayer update and now I cant play my current file because Echo Creek doesn't exist in B41, plus all my mods were for B42.
Am I missing something?
Thank you in advance!!

I've got the same issue. I was on 42.12.3 and have a 4 month old save that I would really like to continue to play. I neglected to back up the game files and when I opened steam today, it forced the update with no way to cancel.

I understand they did this because of an exploitable security issue (ACE) with the game related to the workshop.

In a reddit thread, a developer/moderator mentioned they would try to bring back some of the legacy builds (maybe tomorrow?), but it is currently unclear which builds will be brought back except that 42.13 builds will not be brought back

# median dust The version before Multiplayer release will be brought back after it is patched ...

Just getting back to the game this week, thanks for the clarity and transparency!

For us playing on 42.12.3 saves, when the patched version is posted we can just toggle back to it then open our previous 42.12.3 save without changing anything else? I already backed up my saves, local -nosteam mods (I dont use any live Workshop mods), and my project zomboid install just in case.

I noticed that the naming convention for the versions changed slightly with this update, do you know what the name will be for the version that is 42.12.3 when you guys post it - outdatedunstable or just 42.12.3 like it was named before? Thanks!

42.12.3 is the pre-mp legacy version in this case, unrelated to Unstable, meaning that should stay there for a while
