About the Server
Ashbloom RP is a small, whitelisted PVE server built for people who want to slow down and actually live in the apocalypse. No rush, no grind race, no KOS drama - just a handful of survivors carving out a life on the Blackstone map and seeing what stories unfold.
The Map - Blackstone
We're playing on Blackstone, a custom wilderness map inspired by Yellowstone. It's built for exactly this kind of server - exploration, environmental storytelling, and long-term survival. Think vast wilderness, scattered residential areas, medical facilities, military zones, a massive farm complex, hidden basements, and a fully walled neighborhood perfect for setting up a community. Roads, rivers, and trails connect it all. Vanilla tiles only, no extra dependencies.
The Initial Setup
- Low zombie population - Shamblers only, weak and fragile by default, can be increased or spawned in for events.
- Bites are survivable - Everyone's Infected setting.
- 2-hour days - Longer daylight for RP and exploring.
- 20 free character points - Build the character you actually want to play.
- Loot is rare but fair - Scavenging matters. You'll earn what you find.
- Safehouse protection - Your base is yours. No grief, no theft.
- No helicopter events or random meta events - No interruptions to your scenes. Events will be admin-triggered when the time is right.

We keep it light to stay stable. No overhaul mods.

- Food: Long Term Preservation + Extension, Make Dried Fruit
- QoL: Bag Upgrade Plus, Animals Don't Thump, Wilderness Survival Recipes

About Me
Hey, I'm Glimmer. I've got close to 7,000 hours in Project Zomboid and I still love it. I'm a game producer and love prepping/survival stuff. I'm setting this up because I want a quiet corner of the apocalypse to share with a few good people.
I'm super friendly and care more about good company than perfect RP. If you're new to roleplay but willing to give it a real go, you're welcome here.
What I'm Looking For
- A couple of people (literally 2-5 to start) who enjoy roleplaying, adventuring, crafting, etc.
- People who want to RP their characters, not just optimize a build
- Adults who communicate and respect each other's time
- You don't need to be an experienced RPer - just be willing to stay in character and engage with others
