Can you share a recording of the issue happening without mods?
Later I can
My insomnia is finally letting me feel tired enough to actually fall asleep I hope
Same issue here
ok so basically what happens is it just wont load, with or without mods the settings fiel deletes itself
Sure, can you share a recording of the issue happening without mods?
And can you share your logs.zip file found in %UserProfile%\Zomboid?
here ya go
Unfortunately, all the recent logs show several mods enabled.
Just to rule out any mod involvement and other issues, can you try doing a full reinstall?
First, uninstall the game, then go to "Steam\steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid" and make sure there are no leftover files or folders there.
After that, go to “%UserProfile%\Zomboid” and delete everything there except the “Saves” folder.
Then just install the game again and see if that helps. Do not enable mods and try starting the server again.
@astral socket it still wont work, my C drive is almost full but i dont know how to change it to my other drive that has 2 TB of storage
Steam Library > RightClick game > Properties > Installed files > Move install folder
You should also clear your C drive, it is important to leave at least 10 percent free on it for general PC stability
Yea I did make my D drive (the 2 TB drive) default storage on steam
You should have 10 percent free on the C drive regardless
Yes that looks good, did you also reinstall the game? Did that help with the issue?
I did reinstall the game and I did as you told me and it still won't load with or without mods and the server host settings still say they are going to my C drive instead of my D drive
So I'm thinking that the reason I can't host a game is because the C drive only has so much storage
Your C drive looks to have more than enough storage at this moment
