#Animal tracking broken in Unstable Multiplayer?
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Searching the bug report forums, I cannot find a mention of tracking not working
You have any mods enabled?
Watch a tutorial
No mods, level 9 foraging, did watch a tutorial and still did not work. I even found a deer and followed it with animal prints on and there was none
I can see if I can find it again today and record it maybe that could help
Yes that would be very helpful, I asked the QA team and they are also not aware of any such issues, so the video might help reproduce the problems, if there are any
Alrighty, I'll absolutely do so then! Once our server is up I'll try to find a deer again
I'll also have a look in singleplayer to see if there are any issues there - I've not tried tracking yet in singleplayer
Also probably nice top add that both my partner and friend I play with couldn't find any either
For singleplayer: I will do this in the next few days as it's my partners last day off and my current character is not ready for power and water going off yet hehe
I was able to find deer and record it!
Thanks! Forwarding to the QA team for investigation
Thank you! c:
Yo, I just finally found a rabbit in the wilderness (Doing a wilderness only run)
And they don't leave any tracks either in solo, I think it's fully bugged:

I have forwarded the bug report to the MP devs, it seems to be an actual issue as you said from what I can tell, though if you want it to have double visibility and make sure it is definitely tracked by the QA team as well, is it possible to make a bug report for it on our forums?

Every post gets checked on the forums, it usually holds more weight than posting any issues here, since this channel is mainly to fix issues rather than reporting issues, and I unfortunately cannot fix an actual bug.
I can absolutely do that! Would it be of help to mention any issues I find on the forums? Not to be an ass of coutse but simply to help? 🙂
Yes, any issues that are bugs are best forwarded there. Though those issues need to be reproducible first of course, which in this situation it does seem to be the case that its reproducible
With problems like the game not launching, graphical issues and so on, you can post here
