#Right Mouse Button Aim Mode randomly stops working

Hi everyone,

I'm experiencing an issue with the right mouse button (Aim Mode). It seems that only a small number of players have this problem.

The issue usually happens when there are many enemies on screen.

When I hold the right mouse button to enter Aim Mode, it suddenly exits Aim Mode by itself, even though I am still holding the button. It feels like the aiming state is being cancelled automatically.

I have already:

  • Tested with a different mouse
  • Confirmed my PC specs are more than sufficient for the game

I'm trying to figure out the cause:

  • Could it be mod-related?
  • Could it be multiplayer or connection-related?
  • Or maybe performance-related when many entities are loaded?

Has anyone experienced something similar or found a fix?

Can you share a recording of the issue with the in game profiler enabled? You can enable it with the K button

Can you reproduce it without mods on a new save, then record that?
