So i tried converting my long running save from b42.12 to the newest version, but it seems that for whatever reason the majority of my character data fails to be loaded properly. I checked the logs and found this string of errors that seems to be related, but i'm not tech savvy enough to properly diagnose the issue or take steps to fix it
best guess is that somehow the map being updated fucked with the recall of my character data

Conversion succeed or fail, we do not support any issues with converted saves, or even any bug reports on them, we suggest always starting a new game on latest versions
Best I can suggest in your situation is just starting a new character and adding any lost skills with Debug mode
Or switch to the old beta version if you want to continue playing older saves
