I have an issue where mod(s) appear loaded, but aren't actually. I am using the 42.14.0 and the Host option in the main menu.

  1. The mod appears in \Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\108600
  2. The mod appears in the server ini Mods=\NepWreckWorkingCars
  3. The mod's sandbox settings show up
  4. In-game Esc menu -> Mods lists the mod name in white
  5. The mod doesn't work and there's no errors
  6. The DebugLog-server shows ZomboidFileSystem.loadModAndRequired> required mod "\NepWreckWorkingCars" not found.

@paper veldt it’s missing the “ ; “ at the end of it

I managed to get it "working" by manually copying the mod folder from \Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\108600 to User\Zomboid\mods

#

But that's not a good long term solution

It does look like it’s still missing the proper thing for it to read

I tried it with both ";" and without and it doesn't work

#

It seems that the client can load the mod ( it shows up in the mod list, sandbox settings show up), but the coop server doesn't see it in the workshop directory?

What does your server.ini show for mods and their IDs?

Can you share your logs.zip file found in %UserProfile%\Zomboid?

Keep in mind that at some point I copied the mod from the workshop dir into %UserProfile%\Zomboid\mods which made it work

For some reason the logs are incomplete, are you sure you added the mod to the Steam Workshop section?

#

Since some of the logs imply its missing, which would mean the mod didnt even install if you did not enable it properly there

paper veldt
#

I am sure

#

Like I said, the mod's sandbox settings showed up

#

The mod was downloaded to \Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\108600

#

But it wouldn't get loaded from there, if I take that same exact directory and copy it to \Zomboid\mods, it works

Can you screenshot the mod being added in the Steam Workshop section in the server settings then? So I can confirm it being added

You are right, I didn't realize there was an additional step needed

#

I added the mod to server settings, but I never added it to the "Steam Workshop" section
