i play on a macbook air from 2020 and B41 ran pretty smoothly all things considered, and just recently i moved to B42 unstable and boy oh boy what a downgrade performance wise, despite alleged performance improvements over B41. it’s infuriating to me that i can barely even surpass 24 FPS, and that the game stutters a lot and is pretty laggy overall.
i’ve done every trick in the book, all my graphics settings are at their lowest, i went into the games files to change the games ram allocation to 2048 from 3072 (which did help some), and i’ve even downloaded a mod that improves textures performance wise, and still, no dice. the game still runs pretty badly for me.
it would be nice to get even more tips on how to alleviate my issue, or even just some hope that it’ll improve over time as the devs make updates.
