Character becomes a zombie, then duplicate corpse appears at the same spot. Then I get an infinite error count cycle when creating another chracter. I relog and the character is a duplicate of my character before becoming zombified, with duplicate inventory.

I managed to break the cycle by quitting the game by alt + f4, and opening it again.
Hope it is fixed, because it is also a duping glitch.

I've been experiencing this issue too. Seems to be a thing when my gamepad is active. when I switch to KB+mouse the bug does not occur.
I also get the problem playing solo with my gamepad active. Likely related to one of the mods I have active. Since it doesn't seem to happen with a vanilla save.

This has cropped up with both of the steam deck players in our server, definitely sounds like it could be controller linked. No mods active
