On 42.14.0, I have copied my original world settings and started a new world on 42.14.0. I encountered 5 instances of where my weapon would pass through a zomboid and it would proceed to bite me. Best method to survive is to turn and run or back away and spam shove. The only thing I can think of is we traveled from West point to the mansion south of Brandenburg by vehicle. As we got closer to our destination, thats when it started occurring.

Oh also, we don't use mods. The only one we were using previously was Eurymachus's "Multiplayer Bug Fixes". I removed this from the new world before booting it up as to not complicate vanilla bugs.
when copying settings did u maticulously go through each individual one, or did u copy all and paste, i'am not sure if there are new settings that are in there that might make this an issue.
No, I'm local hosting - not dedicated. I just went to our old save and copied the settings. Then I used the copy to load up the new world.
If I do need to go through all the settings manually again, that would be nice to confirm xD
Is it reproducible on a secondary server with default settings?
I would need time to do that. I didn't notice this issue while I was playing on my solo server (multiplayer hosted but only me playing). Though I was being much less agressive with traveling and fighting. The only time I notice it is when I play with my wife and we travel far distances.
Also, are you requesting the server be hosted on a different machine?
No that is not necessary, just to test the settings
Understood. Would it be helpful for me to send you any of the .ini files?
If it is only reproducible specifically with them then yes
Okay. This is how we've been doing it recently. We just copy the old settings and start the new world. I've done it about 6 times now since 42.13.1. First noticed on 42.13.2.
I've also had this today, got told to disable the aim outline. 5 phase through zombie attacks before, one the day after
I'll test when I can on a straight vanilla world with no modified settings. May be difficult to reproduce quickly
I definitely turned this on around 42.13.1. I got tired of losing my cursor while in fights.
I had never had the original melee issue but had only recently turned on the outline then it cropped up
Sounds like that might be the answer to this. My zomboids outline red now. I tweaked it when i noticed it after changing my cursor settings.
Since I haven't had this issue while playing solo on MP and can't find anyone to test with me, I decided to do some log sleuthing. Here are two interesting things I found and I believe I remember the occasions.
This is from the DebugLog-Server
This is from the DebugLog at approximately the same time.

I've got another DebugLog that has more oddities and should cover the approximate time of the repetitive nibbles. If I could provide directly to you, that would be awesome.
Can you share the whole log? Since we have to get the whole log and not just pieces.
I can. Would you like me to upload them here or somewhere else?
Here is fine for now
I think that covers the game play for that night.
LMK if you need any of the other logs
Hm, yeah I do not see any severe errors here, in which case, can you forward this issue as a bug report to our forums, so it can be investigated again?
