If it happens without mods, can you share your logs.zip file found in %UserProfile%\Zomboid?
I've moved to outdatedunstable, but i'll see if i can recreate it and move back to 42.14

I had a java mod installed that tried to fix the 110 limit in trunks
I might suggest doing a clean reinstall in case of any mod or even game update leftovers.
First, uninstall the game, then go to "Steam\steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid" and make sure there are no leftover files or folders there.
After that, go to “%UserProfile%\Zomboid” and delete everything there except the “Saves” folder.
Then just install the game again and see if that helps.
A fresh install seemed to fix it
