copied game folder but NVIDIA settings not applying | Project Zomboid | Page 1

So i copied my game folder over because im on 42.12 and im unsure if it will ever be removed from steam,and i want to safegaurd it. i can succesfully copy it and run the EXE and the game loads,even detecting my keybinds and graphics settings. However i noticed my DLSS resolution wasnt applied,the game reverted to 1600x900. so i in the options changed it back to 2880 x 1620 , as the option was there...however after i apply it, it doesnt work and it remains in 1600x900.

i tried changing the games exe to a new name and adding it manually through nvidia, and it gets detected and i set up all my settings, but after i run the game,it still doesnt apply the settings.
i tried running as admin,still doesnt work.

im at a loss and i do not understand why it isnt woring

The game uses Java, the .exe is just a wrapper for it

Meaning you have to add the java and jawaw.exe to Nvidia, not the game .exe

They are in the jre64 folder in the game install location

thanks. i resolved issue just there by actually adding the game to steam as a non steam game. it works fine now

also i have the exe as another name

im assuming steam wont be able to auto update this version of the game ever right?
