How to invite my friend?

I have the game on Steam. I host a server through the HOST option on the main menu. The friends who also are on Steam I invite them with just a click, but how do I invite a friend who has the game on GoG? Thanks in advance

The “Online” servers (from Steam) can only be joined by Steam players. If you want your friend on GOG to play with you, you’ll have to change a parameter in your launcher to -nosteam and configure the server so it starts in non‑Steam mode.

As for how to configure the server in -nosteam, it will depend on the method you used. En cuanto a como configurar el servidor en -nosteam dependerá de la forma que lo hayas hecho, en mi caso yo mi servidor lo monte con la opción de servidores que ofrece steam ''Project zomboid dedicated server'' que para que funcione toca iniciarlo con steam apagado desde los ejecutables el cual tiene 1 para el modo online y otro para el ''nosteam'' si usas otro método no se como se configure, ahora mismo no puedo mirar que archivos exactos son si usas ese método, si nadie te resuelve la duda intentare mañana detallar mas.

en principio si lo tienes como yo el archivo que deberías ejecutar para iniciarlo en modo -nosteam (el servidor) debería ser ese si lo tienes de otro modo no sabría decirte. (luego solo deberías poner el juego como he mencionado anteriormente)

Servers hosted through the main menu can only be joined through invites

Only dedicated servers can be joined without them

The guy wants to invite a friend from GOG, since he's not on Steam, I think he could only do it with a typical IP server, not through a Steam invitation.

And well, of course I would also have to set up the servers in -nosteam mode.
