Ammunition disapoearing

We have a private Server with the latest unstable Build and whenever we find Ammunition in a corpse or Transfer it to another Car Trunk the Ammunition will disappear very shortly thereafter. Anything else stays its just Ammunition. We didnt fiddle with any Server Settings apart from Zombie Settings. Any ideas?

My friend has this glitch that when he opens a box of ammo he gets different ammo type somehow

Any mods enabled? Does it only happen when moving these items?

Only 1 Mod, "they Knew" and it happens with or without moving the ammunition.

I’ve had this problem too, but not specifically with ammunition—more in a general sense. Sometimes when transferring items from one type of inventory to another, things can disappear. For example, not long ago a tool I had used to repair a car vanished when I moved it into the toolbox. I’ve also had magazines and other items disappear. And sometimes you might even find that you can’t pick up a certain item at all.
When you have a mod installed, they’ll often dismiss the issue and blame it on the mod without even looking deeper into it. For example, a few days ago I reported a problem with disappearing items related to a farm/animals I had built, and apparently just having a mod that only translates text can “corrupt” the game (according to them)—which I find a bit surreal, but well…

If you can reproduce the issue without any mod, feel free to report it to the forums, and it will be given serious consideration

But, we give a lot of warnings not to use mods, and that we will not accept bug reports or provide support when using them

If you continue to do that, that is your choice, but you will not be able to report issues or get official help when doing that

Can you share a video of it being reproducible on a new server without any mods? You can use debug mode to help you test that

And can you share your logs.zip file found in %UserProfile%\Zomboid after that test?

In my case, I only use a mod that translates text. I don't know how something that doesn't affect gameplay could affect the game's gameplay. I use a translation mod because my English is very basic, and as far as I know, there isn't an official translation yet. Otherwise, I wouldn't use mods. The day the game is officially translated, I'll be able to make reports without the translation mod.
