when I try to craft butter it doesn't consume the milk I didn't try to use other stuff that is replacing what a container is actually holding
since both of these are workstations and considering how milk/butter resolves I belive my workstations just skip consuming inputs?

I have this kind of problem when my character is just stuck at shifting items from inventory to crates. But going away from the crate several times helps me personally. But I don't think that's your problem, yours is directly connected with the coffee machine and milk it seems. Dunno what to do here

Some areas have pre built composting bins, some areas also have stories which can spawn extra placed items

well I usually test if it is fixed at this location unless range of composting bin is insanely high I don't think its related

now I think about it I remember it once worked at firestation but then I never tested it at firestation since I never found all of the ingiridiants there after 😄
by the way... how much item on the ground is too much? Can we still put "some" items like "handful" on the ground? thx again in advance
