#How to revert world map discovery on start sandbox setting.

I started with the map fully unlocked via the sandbox options. After playing, I'd prefer to discover the map as I go. I see that the map is a little brighter in places you've been, so I'm wondering if I can hide undiscovered areas on the world map again mid save?

If I change the setting in the image to false, will that do anything mid-save? If there's a way to reset the map completely, that's fine too.

I'm asking this because I haven't played in 10yrs & expected to die immediately, but I've had a really good run on this character so far so if I can fix this issue that would be great 😄

You can press the questionmark button in the bottom right corner on the map to forget your progress

Disabling the option would likely keep the already explored area as far as I know, but you can try turning it off first

Unfortunately the reveal setting seems to be baked in. Even after forgetting it seems to come back after reloading.
