#Mod update detection and auto restart options? Linux

Hey, honestly I'm posting cause that would be something I would wanna know about too. I usually recommend that people use steam collections and regular server restarts to pick up on mod updates that way. With the recent Build 42 launch a lot of mods have been updating a lot haven't they?
yes to all of that.
no idea if this works as I haven't used it (i used -nosteam so all versions are frozen) but there is this mod I saw the other day while browsing:

Here's another option, again no idea if these work:

I hadn't seen this one. It would work, so thank you. Unfortunately I rent the server and dont have access to the container config. I'm sure they would do it for me once... but not every update haha. Good find though.
I can recommend this. Using it my self on my own servers. https://github.com/Lu5ck/pzsvrtool
Then you just use cron to run checkmodupdate as often as you want.
All commands for that tool can be run through cronjob.
Sweet ill take a look today. Idk if ill be able to because the only thing I have access to is the container. Maybe ill switch to a vps.
How long have you used this? All things it touches and changes i feel like this is going to inevitably break, badly, when there is an update.
@dusk bobcat Been using it for almost a year now. Running with B41 and B42
Sick.
I did speak to my provider. Id have to move it over to a VPS.
I might do that.
