So I'm the owner, have access to the console but need to log in with the debug options enabled in order to run a mod's trigger event. Of course with the new B42.13.2 update, theres no way to keep the Admin perms on the character. I just need to know if I'm boned or if I gotta find a work around?
For reference, I'm working on getting immersive blackouts working.

Doesn’t seem to be working. Would try to work around it but I don’t know the command to remove someone’s SteamID from the server whitelist.

In the server box console I ran the following:
/addsteamid [My Steam ID]
Output: This Steam ID is already present on the Whitelist List.
/grantadmin “Ryan Kepler”
Output: nothing appeared in the console
That name is my Character’s name and the username of the account.

Weird, there should be output after the grantadmin as well
Try using "setaccesslevel Username admin"

That does produce an output but it never sticks. We’ve had to design a bot to RCON that command into the server itself.
But once you log out and log back in? You’re back to base level USER.
Output: “[User] is now an Admin”

I am unable to reproduce this, I was able to make a new account an admin perfectly fine
Do you use any mods? What version was this server created at?

Server was created on 42.13.1, then we updated it. We use mods but nothing that affects the Admin permissions.

They do not need to, could you try creating a secondary test server with the same mods to see if the issue persists there?

It's a pz issue with Open=false (whitelisted server) it removes the "admin" menu every time you log in
but it keeps the perms, it just doesn't show you the admin tools, and you're automatically invisible and in godmode... so you have to run manually grantadmin <username> every time you join

By re-adding I meant the SteamID command, then the grantadmin command. There is no command to remove the ID specifically as far as I am aware, you can try using "removeuserfromwhitelist "

As soon as I log out and I try to rejoin, I’m not admin anymore
I mean, I am admin, but I don’t see the button to open the admin tools that I need to redo the command
I cannot even join with the debug mode because it doesn’t detect me as admin
And im using the admin account, the master one, the one that PZ creates on first launch so yea, it's just broken. They need to fix this asap

I would suggest making a bug report about it, or make your own threads rather than mixing issues in existing threads
