Hi! My friends and I recently started exploring build 42, and I ran into a problem.
Everything seemed fine at first, so I decided to try blacksmithing. After completing all the crafting steps, I created an advanced furnace and a coal smelting barrel. Both of these items worked throughout our game session (although the crucible displayed the wrong amount of metal, but placing it on the ground fixed it).
We didn't log out, restart the server, or add or remove mods. At some point, everything just broke:
- In the coal smelting barrel, the crafting progress was frozen at 100%, preventing me from getting any coal (I tried crafting it from logs and branches, as craft receipt said). Fortunately, this was resolved by removing the barrel with a sledgehammer and placing a new barrel in a different square. But I think this is a bug in the same category as the next one.
- No crafting works at all in the advanced furnace anymore. At first, as I mentioned above, I was able to get a crucible with metal, but after I repaired the barrel, any smelting stopped working: when I select a crafting item (for example, iron chunk + charcoal + large crucible), the crafting process starts. And then ends. However, iron chunk remains in my inventory, the crucible remains empty, and the charcoal is consumed.
I've already tried deleting and reinstalling the furnace, following my experience with the barrel, and also crafted a new crucible and took another iron chunk (just in case), but unfortunately, it didn't work.
We found several fix mods for 42.13.1 mp that mention fixing this issue, but none of them helped us with these issues.
