This is the only thing I see in the log before it crashes. No stack traces or anything like that. Not sure what this is or what I need to do? Happens with and without mods and also happens even with -debug NOT set as launch option. Ill just be running along and then it takes me back to the game menu. When I try to go into the save file again the save file name has _crash in it. Im not exiting debug when this happens either so not sure why its saying that? Im usually running or attacking when it happens. Any thoughts? I dk what I'm doing lol

Can you share all “hs_err_pid” files found in your main game folder “Steam\steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid”?

I only have one file from around that date, which is for the 28th not the 29th. Ive ran the game multiple times since this post as well, hopefully this info is from then and not from the game I ran now lol

#

and are you able to tell me what this means?

#

I was driving along and then the game froze and crashed to desktop. It could be mod based since the game I'm playing today is using mods but I dk what it means since no mod is showing up in a stack trace or anything.

Hm, yeah this might seem like a game install issue.
Can you try doing a full reinstall?
First, uninstall the game, then go to "Steam\steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid" and make sure there are no leftover files or folders there.
After that, go to “%UserProfile%\Zomboid” and delete everything there except the “Saves” folder.
Then just install the game again and see if that helps.

Preferably try loading without mods just to rule them out

Ok will do. I’ll keep you posted. Not home right now so it’ll be a few hours before I can test this but I definitely will when I get back.
