Playing multiplayer on 42.13.1, without mods. When the host sometimes crashes, I lose all map exploration data. I know crashes sometimes happen, especially with b42 so no problems there, I'm not even convinced they are on the game's side (likely our server's pc). That being said, is there any possible way to backup specifically the player map data? It's the only progress that tends to get lost. Interesting enough, when I get to anywhere there were map notations from before it was wiped, they get revealed as well as if they were part of map.

The map data is specifically saved on the client PCs, in the %UserProfile%\Zomboid\Saves\Multiplayer\ServerIP folder

#

In the "map_visited.bin" file

#

And any drawings on it are in the map_symbols.bin

#

So if you backup those two files, you should be able to always restore them
