Me and my friend is troubleshooting his game on his system with him being stuck on the Click to Start screen after loading while his character spawns in the world with him unable to play, the issue persists both on 42.13.1 and the default public version of Sep 26 2025 and both in multiplayer and singleplayer. We have exhausted copious manners of recommended fixes available online, both on the subreddit and forum.

We have wiped his files regarding to the game in all known directories, effectively starting with a vanilla fresh install.
He updated his Integrated graphics drivers.
Started the game on 32-bit
Started the game on compatibility mode, windowed, 1280x720 resolution
Tried the Reset Display Adapter (Win + Ctrl + Shift + B) shortcut
Verified his game's file integrity
Changed his cache directory
Used the launch option from steam to bypass input plugin (-Djinput.useDefaultPlugin=false)

All of these methods but to no avail, any further assistance will be appreciated as I have also attached his console.txt file from him

This issue is mostly caued by outdated drivers, unfortuantely the logs you shared do not show the driver version

hi, i'm the friend that he was referring to and asked him to make a thread for me.

i have no dedicated gpu which is why it was not stated in the 'console.txt' file but i mainly play my games using my igpu with no problems and i did try to update my cpu to the latest version.

as much as i don't want to degrade my cpu to the oldest version as people in the forums have mentioned who were facing the same problem as me. is there like any other way to fix the issue? i've spent 300+ hours in the game but this issue happened after i came back to the game for almost a year.

Since it is most likely just a case of an outdated driver, rather than the iGPU being weak

You can see the latest driver version is from 2026, not 2022 like your screenshot shows
