I have a server in Chicago with 3 people, 1 in Maryland, Texas, and way down in Paraguay. After the update the guy in Texas is having lag. Ive had him delete mods/reinstall when connecting, validate files twice, switch to another branch and then back to unstable, and then full game reinstall. im tired of hearing about it, personally I think the problem is on his end, no console errors, anybody got any ideas?

Thank you, this helps me rule some stuff out. My host is Host Havoc, and the only mods we share is Multiplayer bug fix and Here comes the Sun. im gonna have him clear his steam cache and try again, then ill have him join a different server and then yours, maybe I can establish a pattern or something. I'll share if I find anything

What sort of lag is it? Is the texas guy with high ping?

I fixed it sigh so player finally clarified that the lag was only happening at main base. Okay, we fixed it, did 3 things. first we picked up all the shit he left all over the ground and put them in boxes. Less things to render always good. Then I kicked him out of the safehouse, that glitched so kicked him out of guild and then added back to guild and safehouse. Then, and this is so stupid but its probably what the cause was, I destroyed my composter. Thats right, the box that breaks down rotten food. Relogged after the last composter was destroyed and no problems.
the only glaring difference I can think of is he has a 4090 whereas we have older cards
