Will the beta branch "42.13.1 - 42.13.1" stay permanently?

Hello,

I was wondering if the beta branch "42.13.1 - 42.13.1" will stay available permanently.

My server got broken by today's update, and because of some backup bug, the world file wasn't saved properly either. Now I'm stuck choosing between:

• Keep going on the unstable branch and pray the save doesn't break with the next hotfix/update, or
• Restart on 42.13.1, but I don't know if that version is just temporary or if it'll stick around.

Does anyone know if 42.13.1 (the separate beta branch) is staying as a long-term option, or will it eventually disappear/be merged/removed?

It will not, the unstable branch is specifically there for testing new builds constantly, we will not be keeping every patch released on the Unstable branch.

To avoid updates, I suggest playing on the stable release, the Unstable beta will be constatntly updated as is said in all of the warnings

I know that that the „unstable“ will update but there is a specific 42.13.1 beta in steam
