Soo when i try to start game(without mods ofc) everything looks fine untill im at trait selection menu. There is already selected cold blooded trait and when i try to delete it(click reset traits or randomize)my game freezes.. On the other hand if i skip trait selection and go futher game starts normally.. File integration don't help. I was messing around with death legion mp mod, knox expanded event and realistic car phisics. I deleted ALL files from game directory and then did file integrity check. still it didn't help.. At this point i have no clue what is wrong...

There do seem to be some errors in the trait screen, and no mods loaded.
Try also deleting your game settings. Go to “%UserProfile%\Zomboid” and delete everything there except the “Saves” folder.

To rule out any file issues, are you able to reinstall the game on a different hard drive?

for some reason order of proffesions randomize... 10 minutes ago without mods unemployed was on 5th place now is on 2nd. wtf

Hm, there were some reports where even mods that were not enabled caused issues, could you unsubscribe from your mods and then retry?

The video shows you have the Veteran occupation, so the trait isnt "pre selected"
It just belongs to the occupation

i mean, i can play normally now but its frustrating that those 2 buttons to reset or randomize traits crashes game. And that was my primaly cause of making this thread. I quess its not worth digging more to find cause of this.
and at beggining my blind ass didnt notice that veteran is preselected
