so it's 100% that your server is updated and people can join with 42.13.2 update

What you're seeing in the bottom right is the version of your client. Are you using a dedicated server, or are you using the "Host" feature?

dedicated. everything is updated. I'm here because all normal avenues of troubleshooting have not worked.

So I had that issue as well, but it was because my server was not updated despite me thinking it was. How's your server set up? SteamCMD?

The safest way I know of to check Server version is 42.13.2 is to check your Server's DebugLog.
