I have set up a dedicated server for myself and a few friends but everyday after about 24h it stops responding but is still running, I think it might be due to UPnP lease expiring and server not requesting a new one since one of the players managed to stay connected to the server when it wasn't responding to join requests from other players. It wasn't possible to connect to the server through steam friend join or server browser but it wasn't accessible even through the local network for some reason.

Try manually opening the ports instead of the UPnP lease to try and work around it?
I don't think my router supports such settings or they just don't work
You don't have any way to open ports on your router?
I had problems with that ever since I remember, when i tried it for Minecraft it didn't work
Hm, well if it isnt accessible through the local network, it might be something else
You used your Local IP of the PC to try and access it?
Yes, it failed
But it did work through both when it was accessible through internet
If it's working with UPnP lease enabled, but not working with that disabled while attempting to access it via local IP, I feel like that might be a PC (not router) port-blocking issue. So PC firewall or possibly an antivirus software.
This has been an issue for a very long time @polar marlin. To get around this, we added a cronjob to restart the server twice a day. You'll basically just need to bring the server down, and then reboot it. You can also do it manually for a while if you want.
Do you also specifically use Upnp?
Yes, Upnp is set to true. Though I have forwarded the usual ports
Try turning it off and keeping only the ports forwarded
Since I have servers that run for days, meaning it is not something the game has an issue with, it would have to be specific to your setups
Sure! I'll try it out. I still think I'll need to bring it down/up to check for updates though.
Mod updates can be pretty sporadic
Oh you will have to restart your server process for mod updates and game updates still, for sure.
