[B42.13.1] Game is stuck on startup (Loading LUA black screen) | Project Zomboid | Page 1

Have been having a blast playing the 42.13.1 when it got released last December 2025. Last time I've played is January 13 and it was still fine.

Now when I try to start the game on steam, it starts up fine but when it gets to the black screen with "Loading LUA" screen, it gets stuck. I also cannot alt-tab or Ctrl-alt-delete out of the window forcing me to restart my laptop using the power button.

Can you share your logs.zip file found in %UserProfile%\Zomboid?

The logs do not seem to show any issues, just that the game is closed while loading the textures

Are you able to load into B41?
