I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it didn't work I have audio but no visuals I can see the cursor though. I believe this happened when I tried to open b42 and it worked but it crashed and I switched back to b41. I don't know how it happened

Can you try doing a full reinstall?
First, uninstall the game, then go to "Steam\steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid" and make sure there are no leftover files or folders there.
After that, go to “%UserProfile%\Zomboid” and delete everything there except the “Saves” folder.
Then just install the game again and see if that helps.

It's fixed now lol. I just open the game like an hour ago and it worked
